PLANTATION DRIVE

Sapling Plantation programme was held on 14-Aug-2019, in the grounds of Mullur Government School as a contribution to one student one tree initiative launched by HRD minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank by The saplings were supplied free of cost by Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy.
The purpose of the activity was to raise awareness and consciousness about environment among the students.
A total of 80 saplings were planted by highly enthusiastic NSS volunteers, who also fenced and watered them. Every step of the program was appreciated by the school authorities. The volunteers also taught the school kids importance of tree plantation and encouraged them to water the plants daily.
The drive was a huge success empowering students with substantial knowledge of environment and plants and simultaneously enhancing their social skills.
