NSS - Special Camp - Day1 INAUGRAL SESSION, TOBACCO AWARENESS SKIT & ORIGAMI SESSION FOR STUDENTS OF MULLUR GOVERNMENT SCHOOL

This special camp was inaugurated at the Mullur Government School, Mullur village on the 2nd of March 2020 which began with a prayer song sung by Gowthami of Mpharm invoking God’s blessings. This was followed by the lamp lighting ceremony in the presence of Dr Amit Kumar Das [Principal,KCP], Prof Prakash Mallya [Director-CPPA,KCP], Principal of the school Mr Ramesh and the NSS officer of KCP Mrs Ashwini Karanth.

Prof Prakash Mallya gave a motivational talk to the students on the importance of helping the ones in need and becoming responsible citizens of the society. He also made the students aware of the effects of tobacco usage encouraging them to take a courageous step forward in asking anyone in their vicinity to stop the use of tobacco.

This was then followed by few words of enlightenment spoken by the principal Dr Amit Kumar Das.

The principal of the school Mr Ramesh thanked the NSS unit, KCP for all the contributions done for the betterment of the school and its students.

The students of Fourth Semester Bpharm enacted a tobacco awareness skit which was very informative for the students of the school.

The students of PharmD 3rd year conducted a fun origami session for the students of the school where they made a variety of shapes like the rocket, the frog, the ice cream and many more with a lot of enjoyment and enthusiasm.
